Good morning! I was just thinking about our session yesterday… I wanted to tell you that python list comprehensions - and in fact all functional programming - can be a bit of a head scratcher. Don’t feel bad about it. Only 2 (3?) years ago they felt weird to me too.
But they’re very powerful and very ‘pythonic’.
Just google (or co-pilot) it every time you need one until it comes naturally. I don’t know how long it took me, maybe a few months until they’re really second nature. The important thing is to recognise when you need one, co-pilot can’t tell you that anything like as well and that’s what becomes your value as a programmer. It’s all part of the journey :-)
